This event covered topics including the Acutely Bleeding Cirrhotic, Interventional Radiology, Obscure Blood Loss and investigation, Anaemia in the Elderly and Alternative Strategies to Platelet Transfusions in Patients with Thrombocytopenia and other Haemostatic Disorders.

There was also an overview of the work done at OUH between gastroenterology and transfusion medicine over the last 15 years.
